SF Photobook Fair

Saturday, October 18: 11 AM – 5 PM

Sunday, October 19: 10 AM – 4 PM

The amazing Harvey Milk Photo Center will host over 30 tables of publishers and vendors selling and promoting photography books, magazines, and zine publications during this free, two-day weekend event. I will participate with other BAPC photographers including Alison Taggart-Barone and John Martin.

I will be presenting a prototype edition of my ongoing book project 5 Years, 6 Feet Apart, a photographic and essay-based exploration of the symbols and markings that defined how we navigated public space during the pandemic. Developed through exhibitions and conversations with curators and writers, the project brings together images, text, and research around the emotional and spatial residue of those temporary instructions.

It includes 5 sections of images that turn my installations into a book form. It includes my own writings as well as 2 essays by contributors:

  • “The Aesthetics of Peril and Panic” by Renny Pritikin (Formerly the chief curator of The Contemporary Jewish Museum in San Francisco)
  • “Lines, Loss, and the Gravity of Time“ by Christopher Lee (a medical epidemiologist focused on global epidemic and pandemic preparedness, detection, and response)

Tonight we had the pleasure of hosting Mark Citret Tonight we had the pleasure of hosting Mark Citret for a deep dive into his five-decade career. It was a rare treat to see the evolution of a single image across silver gelatin, platinum, and inkjet prints—a true masterclass in how the medium shapes the message. Mark’s work is a testament to the art of “quietly seeing,” finding profound beauty in the overlooked corners of our world through a lifelong commitment to black-and-white photography. Truly inspired by his patience and his eye. 📷✨

I'm honored to be on the Host Committee for First I'm honored to be on the Host Committee for First Exposures' annual art auction and youth exhibition fundraiser: Looking Forward, Giving Back.

First Exposures has been doing remarkable work in San Francisco for over 30 years. Based in the Mission District, they offer free photography classes and 1:1 mentoring for youth ages 11-18, helping them find their voice and build self-confidence.

If you care about empowering youth to thrive, express themselves creatively, and connect with their communities, support this transformational program!

Mark your calendars for Thursday, May 7, 2026 and join me at SOMArts Cultural Center in celebrating the work of some amazing youth photographers, their mentors, and several local community artists.
