This is an annual fundraiser where the gallery inv

This is an annual fundraiser where the gallery invites 50 artists to create a grid of 50 artworks. Each artwork is 6″ square. My Interface series suits the format nicely. Last year I showed my 6 Feet Apart series. The exhibition fills all three galleries at Sanchez Art Center and has a big local audience. It’s a very festive event and part of the fun is seeing the art disappear off the wall as it is purchased.

Juror: Andra Norris.

Ticketed opening weekend:

Friday, Sept 6: 5pm and 7pm
Saturday, Sept 7: 11am; 1pm; and 3pm
Tickets via Eventbrite. $35.
This is the only opportunity for gallery visitors to see the show in its entirety; artworks purchased during the opening stay on the wall. Time slots are good for 2 hours.

Free After the Opening Weekend Fundraiser:

I’m creating 50 of these tiles for my next exhibition which opens in three weeks on September 6 at Sanchez art center in Pacifica. I was training my friends @nastiya.shubina @glish.group in my system of how to wrap the image around the sides and the back. This is based on a technique used for upholstery.
